2012 S. This is rear center lower part of long block (engine). I thought ping sensor but looks different. Has a bushing(?) inside it which was leaking oil.

Definitely not the knock (ping) sensor
nor the Vanos solenoid.
Could it be an engine block heater?
I wanna say it’s not a sensor but a way to get the wiring through the block to the oil pump. I pulled my oil pan off and the oil pump wiring goes up inside the block and exits right there.
