Help please - Delay wipers

Accidently posted in Roadster, nobody responding. Maybe the correct forum will help.

On my Coupe, just purchased, NO RAIN SENSOR, my wiper delays only work at a stop. as soon as I move they go to continuous, then when I stop, go back to delay. No option to put on delay when moving at any speed.

Seems weird. PLEASE try yours if you don't already know, and let me know if it's the same.

Thank you!

Thats how they work , on the second click , they are speed sensitive from stop to go when you have the stock wiper option.

Push the button on the end of the (right side) wiper stalk. That's intermittent. A little icon comes on with it. They might actually stop completely when the car stops. There's no adjusting how fast they wipe. The automatic rain sensor option isn't available on the Coupe because of the different roof. No garage door opener either. I miss that stuff.

Mine does not have a button on the end. Cone shaped. I have on movement on arm to engage/disengage. Basic wiper.

The end of the cone is a button.

OK, I'll try it again, but pretty sure it doesn't move. Thanks.

Well, seems my end button was simply stuck. Now that I know it should move I sprayed some mechanics helper in there and worked on it until it came loose. Guess the previous owner never used it.

Thanks for the help.
