Hello! I'm new to NAM, but not super new to MINI. I had a 2010 MINI Cooper S hardtop that I loved for a few years (bought it used). And then, on January 6, 2016 it was crumpled with complete prejudice while it sat happily in my driveway.




MINI was totaled, the Subaru on right was repairable.

SO, I embarked on a three-month quest for a new car. I considered an Audi TT Roadster and other MINI models, but ended up with an R57 - 2012 MINI Cooper S Convertible. And I'm SOOOOO HAPPY!!!

Loving the car. Loving having the roof down. Loving being back in a car that responds when you just think. And I'm thrilled to have found a MINI forum area that's more active than the others on which I was a member.

I live near Boston, if you're around here get in touch. I frequently just tour the shoreline south of Boston. And I'm a pro photographer and writer, so photowalks (really photo drives) are part of my routine.
