Looking at installing a JCW tuning kit on my 2014 Coupe S. Kit contains exhaust manifold that has a different part number from both the stock Coupe or Coup Works manifold but looks very similar. Note this is the US kit and not the ECE version. Any idea what the difference is in the manifold supplied with the kit? Does it have to be installed--drives up dealer installation costs significantly. Older kits contain the manifold for non-US installation only.

Comes with most likely a port and polished manifold which is tuned to the kit. If you are installing the kit and having it flashed , i would install the manifold.

 

Thanks, understand the polished manifold is a larger bore in order to preclude installing the larger JCW turbo or so I was advised by others.
