In several of these posts I have you use the word odd. Mini's are unique most definitely but not odd. I am on my 2nd JCW Coupe.

 

Drivehard, Thanks for your comments about the rear brakes.

 

For sure they are unique and it is why I like it but some people say they are "butt" ugly because the rear is so short and the roof is strange.

Well, it is not a car for everybody but for those who own one, we definitely appreciate its esthetic and qualities.

 

Point taken. You are right. Odd shouldn't be the descriptive word for theses cars. I like unique. So let it be known on October 11 2014 the Mini Cooper coupe is "unique".

I completely agree...... today, in a parking lot I have been told twice it was cute. I always park at the end of the lots to avoid damage.

After all, the rear end is not so bad and people are surprised of the cargo space. I am still amazed at just over 1200 miles how it handles in town and on the freeway.

But, I hate the A/C and audio controls. I will post more at my 1300 miles log.
