I've had this car for a week and love it. I sadly said good by to my electric blue R53. This car gives me the most fun I've ever had driving!!!

 

After 3 1/2 years I still love driving this car. Trust me it will never get old.

New to me 2013 R58 JCW.

How many R58 where made and the break down for S and JCW Models?

The R58/R59 made from 2012-2015. Not sure how many were made but obviously not enough or they would've been discontinued. I'm not sure what you mean as far as breakdown but there was a base model S model in a JCW.

 

How many R58 JCW where made anybody have any idea?

Not that many. I would guess maybe 1000~800 a year depending on the year, I know the first year (2012) had the most.

Have mine limo tinted on the side and back, think it really changes the looks.

 

I think I read that only 1000 Coupes total were sold in the US in 2014, the last full year they made them. I've never read anywhere what percent of Minis sold are JCW models. And I agree, tinting the windows changes the look a lot. At first I wasn't sure I'd like it but now I would definitely do it again.

I found these figures someone online but I can't remember where. USA sales 2014-956 coupes sold 2015-460 coupes sold. I haven't found 2012 and 2013 numbers yet. It's a shame most people will never know what they are missing by not getting to drive a coupe everyday!

Does anyone have the Front Strut Tower Brace from Mini the JCW one?

The Dealer says it doesn't fit the R58JCW but does fit the R58 S makes no sense

Yea, I have those in my R52 in gen1 version which are now NLA :(. I like them and they have lasted in my gen 1 .

I have the GP2 ones in my R58,

 

It fits the JCW R58 . It will touch the line a hair on the one going from the vaccum pump to the brake booster, but that hose has a extra sleeve on it anyway, 51710442352

Taking the Mini to the St Pete Grand Prix practice today. Can't wait to see this little car at speed on the highway.

It's interesting matching her up against some of my other cars she is so short coupled it drives better lines with less Gs.
