My Domino arrived on Tuesday, picked her up on Wednesday. Other than what's in my sig, she got her covert radar/laser detector gear installed yesterday. Only took 12 hours due to the technician never seeing a 2013 JCW yet

 

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet !! Very similar to the one I hope to order in a few months, except for the roof color.

Can't quite see enough to know... are those OEM wheels ? Don't recall seeing those on the configurator.z

Those are OEMs. About a week before (late Aug) my shipment went in, the configurator showed a number of updates for the 2013 JCWs. They were listed as "MyMini Black Spokes for $500. They were the best of the bunch other than spending a load for the 18"ers.

 

Ohhhhh boyyyyy... more bling available in the configurator !! Ka-f'n-ching !

Glad too. The covert system is the Escort Passport 9500ci. It comes with a radar module front/back and laser defractors. There is one control unit and one LCD unit that you mount inside the car cabin.

The modules, radar/laser are mounted behind the grill where the inter cooler is and the rear sensor is mounted above the rear license plate. The system has full band capacity plus GPS for red light cameras and speed cams.

Can provide pics once I get to a computer. Writing this on my iPhone is a bit of a pain.

OK Guys.
This is what the Dash control units look like. The one on the right of the steering wheel is the LCD. This is where your speed and band channels show up. The one on the left is the controls for brightness, mute, power on/off and other settings. Short of a cop sticking his head in the window, you cannot see these easily through the windows. This is before tinting the glass. I'm not so naive as not to believe if an officer does look in that I won't be bagged in a second if I'm in VA or DC.
