So I just went from an 04 R50 CVT
to a 2012 Coupé S

It was such a spontaneous purchase last night haha (4/30)

Couldn't believe they had one on the lot that was actually stick
and well equipped!

 

Congratulations... my dealership has 4 with stick and 4 auto's... I like the sticks, but non had the equipment I wanted, so I had to order it... it's being built as I type this.

And sorry for the misleading title folks...this is a pretty huge upgrade for me though haha

Congrats! I know the feeling. Took the Hardtop in for service and came home with the Coupe. Totally unplanned, but loving it.

I KEPT my R50 when I got my JCW Coupe. See sig below.

 

Not exactly one's average R50, though. I'll keep mine when it no longer suits use as my DD.

Your R50 definitely isn't average, wish mine was like yours....but mine Is just normal, couldn't get rid of it...waay to many good times with that car, still going strong too


Thanks mdsbrain...I think the black headlight housing really sets it off as stealthy looking...great option for those who are too lazy to embark on a Joey mod project

Alas I wasn't able to keep the Hardtop too. Been trying to get the wife into a Mini, but she thinks they are too small. Unfortunately she has been seduced by the 'SUV is big therefore I am safe' argument. God help everyone else on the road ;-)
