Rear Window visibility in the rain

Since the Coupe does not come with a rear windshield wiper, does that mean it is not required.Would like some comments about the need, or lack thereof when driving in the rain.I think the angle of the rear window should prevent what happens when driving the R56-R55 in the rain.Q

I put a layer of RainX back there to help out. Haven't driven in the rain much though.

With the serious aerodynamics of the rear roof spoiler, the rear window does not get hit by wind... Normal rain events have hardly been hitting the window at all. On a down side, drops will literally stay there until they dry, as the wind will never blow them off.

RAINX is your friend! Like stated above, while driving at speed it's not a problem. I've been in some serious downpours and never noticed I was struggling to see. All other conditions are cured by the use of RainX in my experience. Half the time I don't even need to use my windshield wipers the RainX works so well. i re-apply it everytime I wash the car.

I'll jump on the Rain-X bandwagon here. Because the rear spoiler does its job of pushing DOWN on the car by pushing the air UP and away from the car (and therefore the rear windscreen), there is basically zero wind gliding across the rear glass. The car needs a rear wiper, but it's not an option, so Rain-X is your only other sensible option.

I recently drove from Tampa to Dallas and only got about 50 rain-free miles the entire way. Rain-X kept the front windscreen wonderfully clear, and every so often a few drops would skid off the rear glass as well. But it'll never stay clear.

I also carry a squeegee in the boot so I can clean the rear glass, since there's no wiper back there to assist in that task.
