Coupe is MotorWeek's "Car of the Month"

I just saw the Motorweek Coupe (JCW) test report. On their website they have it listed as their car of the month.
http://www.motorweek.org/reviews/car...i_cooper_coupe

Eventually you will be able to watch the report on their website but otherwise keep you eyes open for Motorweek on your local PBS station

Every local PBS affiliate will air Motorweek at different times on different dates. If you have Velocity, the episode will premiere there at 8:00 p.m. on 2/14. A little Coupé love for V-Day. (It will repeat several times that evening & following morning)

My TiVo is set to catch it on Velocity.

Saw it on Saturday - they liked it alot (JCW). Did complain about the torque steer on it, which was a bit of a surprise.

Anytime you send (about) 200HP/200TRQ or more to a FWD (with unequal length shafts) you will have torque steer.

Looking for it to show up on the (free) iPad PBS App this week.

From all accounts I've seen, the Mazdaspeed3 has been able to significantly dial down the torque steer, and that's substantially higher HP than the JCW.

Please don't confuse me with facts - I barely get by as-is.

I traded in a lightly modded '09 Speed3 for my MCS Coupé. People on Mazda boards constantly complained about torque steer in the Speed3. I never noticed it being a huge problem. I'm not even a big strong guy, but I had no problem keeping my Speed3 in a straight line on launch.

Comparatively, I'd say my MCS Coupé is even less prone to torque steer, personally. Maybe it's the lower hp, but I have no problem keeping the Coupé in line.
