R58 Auto Show Roadster

Auto Show Roadster
Just saw the Roadster at the DC Auto Show. BRG II (looked awesome). The top is indeed VERY simple to operate. The view with the top up out the back looked almost exactly the same to me as my Coupe. Of course it is missing the little back windows but they are basically unusable in the Coupe anyway.
I'm really not a convertible person, but I think if I were I would really love the Roadster.
They also had a Cosmic Blue Countryman that looked very nice. They said Cosmic Blue is Countryman only. And of course there was a black/red JCW Coupe.

Obviously opinion. I loved the black headlights and some of the black trim and gauges but they are all things I can add to my car and still be happy with if that makes sense.
It also felt slow to drive.

Personally after driving the JCW Coupe, I could never buy one. At a price of $41k it wasnt worth it and its quiet as can be inside. I like the grumble of the engine and exhaust. Must say the coupe was not for me, and I feel the roadster will be the same.
My .02.. Ill stick to the OG MCS.

The grumble and pop of my JCW is way more pronounced than my MOL's R56 mcs both inside and out. To each his own but in my opinion it's great MINI has expanded it's line and added models like the Coupe, Roadster and Countryman. I see at least 10 R56's a day. Personally though, there isn't a MINI I don't like.
Just my 2 cents!
