wow. that is all happening very fast. Don't you feel deprived of the sweet agony of waiting for 8+ weeks? :-)
The dealership is amazed and they credit it to the fact that Mini wanted to complete Laguna Green orders. On my BMW Individual I waited longer than 8 weeks so I know what agony is like.
On the waters now headed to the U.S. Shows it will arrive at port on 2/23/12 and have been told it will get to dealership about a week later.
Sting, my Roadster finished production on Feb 3 and was loaded on K-Line's California Highway. It departed Southampton on Feb 11 and is due into Brunswick on Feb 22 and eventually will get to me via my Dallas area dealer. Your car is coming to Baton Rouge, I assume? I bet our cars are partying together on the same ship!
love. Is that color metallic or not? Back around 2000, BMW made some M Coupes in a similar shade, called evergreen. Pure. Sex.
I know you're commenting on the color, but I gotta' say I loved the look of the M Coupe. Seems like I heard or read an interview with a MINI exec who said the F55 Clubman might have a shooting brake style. It will be great if it turns out looking something like this.

Yep my coupe is on the California Highway. My dealer told me 2/23/12 arrival in Brunswick but hey if it gets there on the 22nd I will be happy. If the truck takes Interstate 10 on route to Dallas it will pass right thru Baton Rouge. I was told me coupe finished production on the 6th, so your baby has been waiting a tad bit longer to get on the big boat.
All the black trim will be taken off tomorrow including bumpers and replaced with the John Cooper Works Bumpers in Laguna Green. I ordered the JCW package which includes all the trim and bumpers which will all be painted Laguna Green. I will try and take a bunch of pictures tomorrow so I can have some before and after shots. The leather dash is very nice and gives the interior a nice leather smell.
I went back to the dealership before they started the conversion for JCW exterior trim. They said this was the first time anyone at this dealership had ever ordered the leather dash. I wanted to take some close ups to show how beautiful it is. Hope you guys can make it out.
Wow...dash is gorgeous When do you take delivery of you coupe?
I was told maybe next Friday or Saturday. Between the PDI and all the black trim removed and replaced with the painted trim and JCW front and rear bumpers they figured about a week. Then I will not drive and risk a chip on it till they put the invisible shield on the hood and front bumper. I will be making daily trips to just look at it. While the Laguna Green is a rare color I have to admit that the Spice Orange is a stunning beautiful color with the black roof. The dealership got one in when my Laguna Green came in. It is stunning! I guess my next step is to name my baby.
