will shorty antennas that fits the r56's fit the coupe?

 

Pretty sure they are the same. I bought my stubby antenna from a place that didn't have to Coupe listed yet and the one for MINI fit anyway. I think the threads are standard

 

No they are not. The thead on the R58 is different.

 

That's interesting. I bought the Craven one from Atlantic British. It came with two threaded parts of different sizes. So maybe that's why they sell it as fitting all MINIs.

 

I just bought one from my dealer Friday and it comes with a threaded

adapter for the R58.

Is that stubby the official mini part or is it from a third party? Now that I have my coupe back, I want to put on the stubby and look into replacing the side scuttles with black jacks. Anybody know if the standard scuttles for the cabrio would work on the coupe?
