I'm sure they wil contact you tomorrow, it's 8pm over here.

I've not changed the fog light bulb but looking on their website it would be the H8.

Just found this thread, and followed it from the beginning saying wow and each step of the way!

...and then...

...I agree with your red cap reservations...

Hmmm, they are the first thing the eyes see. It felt like a more unified look before.

Not that my opinion matters a whit, but liked the black mirror caps better. As BlueToy suggested, it had a little more unified look.

+++++1111 on the black caps. Regardless what I think, the car is
still sweet.

I have follow this thread from the first day it started and looked forward each day to seeing what you did next. It gave me some ideas for what I could do when mine arrived!

I love all the changes both subtle and dramatic... But I have to say I like the black quite a bit better. The black gives your car an elegant, but very sporty look... So much so that I almost changed my color choice to mirror yours after it was ordered.

At the end of the day it is what you like and a big part of MINI is being unique.

Talking yes

sorry mate not feeling those at all........your original direction with your car was spot on!!!!!!! i would definatley return to the black and silver look you had going on if anything, and if you want to spice it up a bit wrap them in some 1080 3m vinyl along with some of your other chrome items such as headlight and tail light surrounds so on and so fourth......just my opinion, i wish you continued happy motoring your car remains one of my favorites!!!

I think if you were to CC it, then go black or a dark graphite on the R109's for contrast. Can you photoshop dark wheels with the CC? I think it's perfect with the current wheels and black trim...it has a really nice balance. What about tinting the windows to unify the whole glass/roof area? That would be so clean Yours is one of the best looking Coupes I've seen so for, keep up the good work.

Noticed you went back to the chrome grill surrounds. I thought the black looked sportier, but assume you like the look of the chrome better?

I'm gonna run it like this for this year, perhaps paint rear diffuser gloss black like the concept coupe and go from there.

Before I do/if anything with the wheels I wanted to fill the arches out a bit as the wheels were set inside (as all mini wheels) so I've fitted 12mm spacers all round requiring longer bolts.

Gone for eibach spacers

So before spacers...

Now with ...

Maybe Black Jack mirror caps? My Coupe is the opposite colors but I went for a unified look as well. They added just a touch of character.

Not sure where it's going yet, but I've got some new wheels coming tomorrow so they will either go on it or the wife's Clubman plus I've just got access to some genuine challenge parts

No rubbing issues

I love the look of the 12mm spacers! Perhaps I'll have to look into getting some for my R58 S...?

New wheels arrived - quick trial fit before they have a refurb or even my wife putting them on her Clubman
