Uh Oh!

So it took only three weeks and a day to have an accident. First to take delivery and first to get hit. I was stopped in a line of cars waiting for a light to change and suddenly.....KABOOM!! Never saw it coming.....hit from behind by a Toyota. I can keep on motoring, but the rear bumper needs to be replaced. Drive safely my friends!

Ouch Herby! I'm glad it wasn't worse.

There is nothing more infuriating than getting rear-ended. Rarely avoidable for the person hit, almost always avoidable by the person who should have been paying attention to the road.

Here's hoping for a painless insurance ordeal.

Sorry to hear that! Glad it was not worse but nothing reeks as much in the world as much as a accident with a new car (maybe needing the engine replaced). Lets hope this gets fixed soon.

I would be LIVID! A brand new car and someone already rear ended you?!

That's why I always leave a couple car lengths in front of me and I always look in the rearview mirror when stopped. That way I can scoot forward or to a different lane if possible.

Had this happen to me in a several months old 2001 VW Golf 1.8 Turbo. So I've felt your pain. And I do not envy you, sir. I hope this can be fixed with minimal downtime for you and your Coupé. And that the guy that hit you has his huevos shrivel up & fall to the ground like overripe cherries from the tree.

That really stinks. I would be livid as well. I feel for you but I'm sure they will fix it good as new.

Motor On.

Sorry to hear that, the sad thing is you could drive an older car you dont really care about for years with no issues, and 1 week into a new car you get hit by someone probably texting on a cell phone or doing something other than driving! Im in autobody, and its amazing what you see in a car, bowls of cereal, shavers, makeup, you name it.
Pay attention please, and just drive!
