I have the facelift on my 2nd gen does anyone know the process of removing the OEM shift ****? Does the center console need to come out, there is no trim ring like in the non facelift minis. Watching the video on there site shows a r56 non facelift. TIA!

So I figured it out, you just leave the boot in place (its just stretched over the OEM ****) and follow the steps for the R56 basically. Put in in neutral pull up with force then lifts right out.
