Seat Swap Compatibility?

Greetings!

I've just joined the club - 2010 r57 in BRG - and am a bit of a tinkerer myself, so I'm pondering upgrades. Can some kind soul advise me on the topic of seat swaps?

Q1: Are all Gen2 MINI front seats interchangable? That is, if I buy seats from a base Cooper, Clubman, or S, will they bolt and plug right in to my r57 without any issues? (Presumably I'll need to disconnect the battery during the swap, but is it otherwise straightforward?

Q2: How about the back seats? Does the convertible use identical rear seats to the Hardtop? How about the Clubman?

I tried searching, but mostly found info about swapping in aftermarket seats, which I'm not interested in. Many thanks in advance! (Of course - feel free to chime in with any other r57 words of wisdom!)

I've heard that the car may "throw a code" if the front seats are swapped, due to the airbag connectors. The seats are the same across models in gen 2, but FWIW, there is no such thing as a "base" car, unless it has no options. They are S, non-S, JCW etc.

Cabrios use different rear seats because they are narrower to accommodate the top mechanism. Not sure about Clubbies.

Thanks for the info. I've heard that VW's can be famously finnicky about airbags and seat replacement, but in my experience with other cars (toyota & subaru) As long as you disconnect the battery first, and swap the seats in the same position, say full forward and upright, no codes. Very curious if this is the same with MINIs.

PS Apologies for the "base" slip - lesson learned; "non-S" it is!
