I just got my Interchange yellow convertible a little over a week ago. I love it! How do I go about getting the badge? I will post pics as soon as I can.

 

I've noticed a IY hardtop sitting at the local dealership here (MINI of the East Bay); now I wonder if we see the owner here one day...

 

Wondering the same thing. Finally getting around to posting pics of our 2010 IY JCW we bought new. Order 11/2009 and delivered 1/2/2010. This year has been very exciting having put 15,000 miles on her. We went to AMVIV and MTTS/MITM this year besides many local runs.

 

Here are a few more pictures. Besides the 15,000 miles we've got about 90 hours in the Openometer.

2nd request. How do we join and get our IY Badge?

 

The 'badge' is just a digital image that you can add to your signature if you'd like. There isn't a physical badge that is given out.

 

Thanks. Since it is digital any way of getting a copy of the original larger file. I have a club member that makes badges. I could pm you his contact info.

 

You can contact COOPERation, he made the badge, he probably has a righer res version.

 

Just got a response from COOPERation and he's the man!!! He did 2 signature graphics for me and they are all AWESOME! Now it's decision time!

 

Are there any other I/Y Mini's taking the trek to MOTD?

I was walking out of Chipotle and saw a JCW Aero Yellow Convertible fly by with black details and wheels... DAMNNNN

 

I bought an 2010 Interchange Yellow convertible in May from an Audi dealer. I'm the 2nd owner and it only had 4000 miles on it!

When I went to my local Mini dealer to get touch-up paint, they told me that there are only 29 Interchange Yellow's in the entire US of A.

Is this group really that exclusive?! Anyone want to join my mission to find our siblings?

I LOVE THIS CAR!

I was in Ocean City MD for Street Rod weekend and chased another yellow Mini convertible for 8 blocks only to find that it was ?Liquid Yellow? Nice guy - he was not too creeped out by the chase.

 

We bought ours (2010 JCW) in Jan 2010. Ordered from the factory. Love the car. Went to several events that year to include Mini Takes The States & Mini in the Mountains and we were the only one there. It's the only one we've seen here in Lake Havasu City, AZ

 

Sadly there is one less IY roaming these boards... darn that whole being a dad thing...

(uhmm yeah the car seat in the back only worked for sooooo long)

Well we've painted the wheels and added a small pinstripe that fades to checkers. Is "COOPERation" still doing his GREAT artwork. I tried to pm him but his box is full.

 

Bought the 2009 IY 57S in San Jose last night! Now here I am! Pics soon :D

I got mine in March and when I took it to the dealer for a check over he told me there are only 29 IY's in the US... That is exciting!

 

That is absolutely crazy that there are so few. I did love walking out to the parking lot of grey, black, beige, and white cars today and being able to clearly find mine
