After my most recent upgrade I'm getting more thumbs up from other Mini owners than before, and from other vehicle owners just the second or third glance back and a nod and smile.

I have to say that Interchange Yellow does stick out, so you do get noticed. It's been 1 year and 7 days since I took ownership, and I've had some interesting experiences as well as some great road trip experiences (Vegas, San Diego, Portland). Just over 19,000 miles, and around 282 hours of topless motoring and the Mini Convertible is as fun to drive as the first day we brought her home.

Also on that note, about two months ago my dealer still had their Launch Vehicle on the lot (the same one that I posted picture in this thread). They were also offering some pretty great incentives for that specific one from the lot. I just checked their web site, and it's been sold, but I have an old newsletter then sent me from 3/16/10 and they had it for $33700.

Your response got me thinking and I guess I did have a chance at one that was at my local dealer. It was actually the one that peaked my interest at the car show here. But had certain things that were not a priority and was missing things that were key to my list. It sold fairly quickly.
My wife and I vacationed out in Calf in '08 and love your state. Weather, view and food is great out that way. We did an eleven day excursion (in some other convertible) from Orange County to San Fran (up the PCH) & onto Napa. I guess I just need to take more time off and get the new MINI out there for the experience.
Cheers

Other than maybe Hawaii, I think the Northern California roads are just perfect for the Mini Convertible.

Hey Zanary, I came across one of your other posts and loved your car, so I was trying to find other pics and landed in this thread. When I saw that first pic I thought...wait a minute...I know that dealership. I got mine at East Bay MINI too. Awesome sales team (we worked with George M.) Anyway, hello from a fellow Bay Area motorer!
