Nice MCS Review from C/NET

C/NET tested a new MCS automatic in an urban context and came away impressed. Among other things they conducted a competition to see how small a parking space the Mini could fit into (15 ft.) In contrast to some other reviews, C/NET had praise for the stock stero system. Good read.

Hmm, but it appears that for a third time now, auto journalists have proclaimed the Mazdaspeed 3 better

"It did very well, although not quite as good as the Mazdaspeed Mazda3"

"Unlike the previous Mini Cooper S, the 2007 version uses a turbocharger instead of a supercharger, so we were thinking it should change its name to the Mini Cooper T."

LOL MINI COOPER T!

A very pleasant review written by and for the average consumer. Just goes to show that BMW succeeded in making the Mini accessible to a larger audience, at least dynamically if not aesthetically.

The 'S' doesn't stand for 'supercharger' I believe? I thought the designation has ties to its history?
