Hey! I wondered how deep our OB thread sank!

I pass a MINI or more almost daily here, but they rarely acknowledge. And I'm too weird about doing it first! Although I think if I came upon another OB I could.

We're due for a warmer spell this weekend (40's) so I plan on getting the dirty girl cleaned up for the next round of weather that's due our way Thursday.
I cannot wait for Spring!
I still haven't completed my break-in miles yet, but I'm getting awfully close. Less than 100 miles to go.

Good for you jaxsngrl! I'm jealous!

I did get to drive my MINI today (always fun!). Unfortunately, western NY is not as warm yet, though we did hit 45 or so today. We're supposed to get warmer later next week. Maybe I can wash mine too. Ironically, when most of the roads in town are dry, the ones out in the sticks where I live are still wet and gritty from winter road treatment. Even if the MINI gets washed, unless I wait for everything to dry up, it's dirty again within a mile of home...bummer!

It looks like your 45 degree temps of yesterday are here today. Weeee! We're going to get the dogs out to run in a little while. They've been so cooped (heh) up lately with the cold temps.
I did go to the DIY carwash booth yesterday and at least got the salt and crud off, but she's never really been clean since I got her.
I can't wait 'til I can hook up the hose again and give her a full bath and waxing in my own driveway! I figure we have another 6 weeks or so before that'll happen. Until then I'll continue to feed quarters into the DIY wash.

My '07 got a full spa treatment (clay, swirl removel, Klasse) the other day courtesy of two of my NAM buddies. It's fun to do stuff like this as a group, especially when at least someone knows what they are doing and has the right tools. I am but one of the minions.

Hi everyone! Well, Lil' Bruiser has finally made it to Texas, and we will officially meet on Tuesday. I was hoping to get him on Saturday but his truck broke down and a new truck was dispatched to pick up the load. Bummer!

I was going to pass on tinting the windows since I was hoping to get it on Saturday. We have commitments tomorrow so we can't get him until Tuesday. Now that I have some spare time, I am thinking of going ahead with the tint. I have looked through several of your galleries and it appears that most of your windows are not tinted. Do you think I should bother? I don't like the dark tints, but in Texas I think a little tint with help with the heat some.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! My obsession began a year ago and I can't believe it is about to be realized!

Congratulations on your soon to be delivered Lil' Bruiser!

As a fellow Central Texan I highly recommend getting your windows tinted. Summer tends to be rather brutal down here and any kind of window tint helps.

Well, Lil' Bruiser made it to San Antonio! My MA snapped a few pics before he was detailed. He is a cutie, if I do say so myself!! I will post my own pictures as we pick him up.

To those who have the bonnet stripes (and those who don't, but still have an opinion!), what do you think of these to finish off the boot?

I have no plans to do any mods, but I might order these once the weather warms up here...so, let's see, maybe July...
I hope I can attach them myself without making a mess of them!

CooperDream--Congratulations! A dream come true (and it only gets better when you're drivin')!

OBC--rear spoiler looks great. I'll be curious to hear how it works; is it designed to reduce road crud and dust? By the way, I LOVE your signature pic--it's priceless!

minianna, I think I like door #2 best, but 3's a close second. I don't think I like option #1, but it's always hard for me to tell what they really look like without seeing them on the car (and by that time...well, it's a little late).

wannab--I think I do like the boot stripes. Although I'm one of those weirdos that doesn't mind miles of uninterrupted Oxygen Blue (even though at first I thought I was). And where did you find that O2B 'S' anyway??

Heh, I didn't even pick up on that there is no such thing as an O2 Blue S, but you're right! I'm still such a noob! It's from Aesthetic Creations website. They must PhotoShop it in.

ETA: I also love the sig pic, OBC!
minianna, I like the Lite-Fins!
The ones on E-Bay have ended. :(
