Here's a picture of my two-week old OB "baby"
Just picked it up on April 19 and love it! It's my second Mini (traded in my Indi Blue).
The new baby has a sunroof, sport package and lots of other extras the "old" baby didn't have and I just LOVE the color!
I did not get to see Oxygen Blue until I picked up the car and was a little nervous that I wasn't going to like it, but when I pulled into the dealership and saw it, I fell in love with it!!

Yeah, the ol' '03 IB/W R50 Cooper is in for a checkup and so we have an R56 Cooper loaner car. I've been busy playing w/ and learning all (or some of) the features!!! It is Chili Red, which is nice and was my fall-back color choice...but I'm so glad I went with Oxygen Blue!!!

According to this email I got, he will next Thursday!! (car arrives Tuesday, accessories install Wednesday, p/u Thursday....or Friday as a backup!)

That's what's so weird...at this point you may not be able to go by the dealer and see one!! I've never seen one!!!
...and I'm taking delivery next week!! Seems dealers are trying/hoping to keep one of every color on the lot, but since NightFire Red and Oxygen Blue appeared rather late on the scene, that hasn't quite happened yet. Mine will be only the second OB the dealer has sold!! The first one got universal nods from the dealership staff, so it is definitely a winner!!!

Okay.....I'm callin' it!!!
I hereby nominate our beloved Oxygen Blue as the big sleeper of the '07 MINI color palette!! This thread was five pages down, people!!!!!! This is understandable as the color is for Cooper's-only and, let's face it, few have the vision, insight, intelligence, and overall good looks
to boldly go where few apparently dare to trod. We few....
So, here's to the most gorgeous secret weapon in MINIs current color arsenal. Once they start showing up on the streets and turning heads (yes, and maybe even causing accidents, although I hope not)...yeah, they'll all be lining up. But for now, let us enjoy this moment of exclusivity and bask in the glow of that ever-radiant hue which greet us warmly every single time we motor!!!!
