Okay, I'm off work tomorrow and will eat at the same little Mexican restaurant I always eat at. However, with so many of my friends out of town, it's time to revert to plan B....a full-on MINI lust-fest. Yup...the restaurant has massive front windows and so I plan to nab some prime parking and sit down to a leisurely b'fast and lust over my OB/W Cooper. Yum-o...sounds good to me!!! I figured you all would understand.

I get it!

When out to eat last night. Parked right in front of the restaurant, and, of course, you can guess where I sat ... to get the perfect view.

Made the food taste even better.

I'm just back from a very nice b'fast of Oxygen Blue.....er, I mean tacos....at my favorite hangout. The "view" was spectacular. One of the waitresses leaned over to check my line-of-sight. As a result, I got "the look." They are used to this. I have no shame!!!

love the checker/OB combo. Why can't they make OB in the S model? Torn!!!
When I first saw an OB mini on the freeway, I had to take the wrong exit just to follow and get a closer look! I thought for sure somebody who had a classic mini did a custom paint job to match...

They did make one that I know of owned by Ulrich Kranz who is the director of MINI development.http://www.mini2.com/2007/09/12/mini...i-development/

I actually have an '07 S motor in my garage(RIP MINI donor)and I plan on putting the top end(head, turbo, etc) in my OB when she hits 50k which at this rate won't be to long from now.

I MISS MOLLY!!! Here's the story...
Molly was going to the Dr. (Dealership) for the Chrome Line Interior Beauty Treatment, well the dealer was not aware of her appointment when my husband dropped her off on Thursday. But they (Rasmussen MINI) were very accomidating. Took Hubby to work in a Bimmer!! I'm guessing they started the work and realized that the Chrome Rings have some kind of clip which was not ordered at the time they ordered the Chrome Rings. So they weren't able to complete the job on Thursday. So then comes Friday, Hubby takes Molly to Rasmussen and again taken back to work in a Bimmer. He was told the clips would be in about Eleven, the job is 2-3hrs. and so we knew it would be late afternoon before she would be ready. WELL...the clips may have been ordered, but they did not have the correct Chrome Rings, the rings they had ordered were ones that Molly already has. The ones she was supposed to get were the Door Speaker Rings. Anyway, long story short Molly remained at the Dr. and we were given a loaner...an 07 MINI Cabrio, Chilli Red, Cordoba Beigh Interior, Manual, Cold Weather, and then some, BUT it's NOT Molly!!!

Agreed....you'll be so glad to get Molly back, but it is always fun to spend time in another MINI just for the sake of research. Last June, between my '03 Cooper being in the shop for repairs and sorting out my '07 Cooper, we had a fairly solid stream of MINI loaners (a perk of living down the street from your MINI dealership). The neighbors were starting to talk....and yes, I'm serious!!!!!

BTW...I'm afraid that Hubby may have been bitten the "Bug" too. He has come to really like how this new car handles, the Manual AND Topless!!! I'm thinking that we may be a 2 MINI Family before to long!!!

A two-MINI family would be a good thing! Molly would have a little company of her own kind

He LOVES Molly too!! But he says the Manual is a lot of FUN!! We thought that we wouldn't be able to get a Manual Trans because of Hubbies bad knees, but I told him we'll see if his knees can tolerate it after he drives the Loaner this weekend. So far we've driven to Claim Jumpers' for dinner Friday Night, and today to Washington Sq. for clubs and a few other stops on the way home. He certainly had a Big Smile on his Face!!

Yeah...I'm sure the Medical Journals will have a Hay Day with this one Gokarride. It looks like we'll be trying to get our Loan paid off sooner, than the 3 Years we were already planning. I've already spec'd a car for Hubby...it's MORE than Molly!!

Well color may change, but so far:
MCS AB/W
White Turn Signals
White Bonnet Stripes
Premium
Sport
Cold
Convenience
LSD
6-speed Getrag Manual
17" Crown-spoke
Front/Rear Fogs
Xenon
Cloth Checkered or Leatherette
Chrome Line Interior
Anthracite Headliner
Checkered Flag Mirror Caps
Checkered Flag or Black Jack Skuttles
Checkered Sunroof Graphic

It will probably be a year and a half or two before we are able to, so a lot will change before then, but at least I've got him considering one!!
