if i order my mini in october will i be able to get a 07 or a 08? because i want my built to my specifications and not just bought off the dealer lot is that possible?

 

Your MINI should be an 08. The factory normaly closes in August, and retools as necessary then. When it starts up again, it is building the next year models. (At least that is what they described when I visited) If you order a car in early October, you'd.probably get it in late November. Shouldn't be a problem.

 

z3bum is correct it will be an 08. In the UK mid August there is a buying spree for the newest models, in this case an 08. MINI will then bring out 08s however, expect very very minor changes like 08 vins since the car is so new. I live on West Coast and from the time I ordered it until delivery took 63 days. Of course I put a deposit down one year ago to reserve and early spot.
