Had my 07 mini now for a month. Is anyone selling a sunshade for the sunroof? other than that and the wind noise I seem to have, I love the car.

 

If you hear anything about one. let me know. I need one also but for a 2003.

Do you want to do it cheap? Get a large piece of cardboad and carfully cut out two pieces such that they fit beneath the glass. Spray one side of each piece with adhesive and glue on some heavy duty aluminium foil on it, this side will reflect sunlight. On the other side of each piece glue on some pritty wall paper. Place these pieces above those hopeless sunshades that Mini provides, the slide out sun shades. Your car will be cooler in the summer

do you know if these will fit the r56 sunroof? it is suppose to have a bigger glass than the r53. also the r56 seems to have flimsy screens that sag and poorer quality(?prone to tear). at least that is what it appeared on the test drive.

 

it's hard to believe they didnt correct that

 

I can measure both of them for you and give you the dimensions if that would help.

Have you called Stratmosphere and asked them?

I emailed Stratmosphere on Friday and Pete wrote back to say he was just about finished in making the modifications to make them fit the R56. They should be available soon.

 

Those shades are now avaialbe. I ordered a set for my car this week.

Does anyone know of a replacement for the built in roller-shades? Seems as though someone would make a 'solid' version.
