Morning fellow NFRs! It looks like a beautiful day today. Could be a bit warmer but it is sunny and clear in the valley of the sun! CARJOY is getting her boot stripes appointment setup this weekend. Its her Christmas present!

 

Mornin. It is foggy and cold here, and promises to get worse. Romi is no long NFR, she is more of a dank-grayish-sort-of-speckly-muddy-thingy color.

If we dunt(tmp) get som Sun soon, I fear shw is going to leve me for some tall, dark AB Mini in CA. OY!

I am signing off for most the day today as I wil be playing with the Mill.

 

Good morning folks...welcome to Winter Canada Central...the temperature is a balmy -32 C this morning with a windchill dropping that to -41 C..(That's equivalent to -40 F......and Bubbles is still running!

HA....Challenge!

CJ...I think so stripes will look great! Are you only getting them on the boot?

 

I'll take my 70 Degree weather thank you very much! Although a cold front is about to pull through and we'll drop into the 50's. Maybe I'll get to see snow at Christmas but I doubt it. It all melted the day I got home last year.

 

I'll send you some snow..it's already up to our knees this year!

By the way Kitty..how many days left to ETA?

 

I hate to say this Dennis, but your weather sucks!!!

I'm having Aesthetic Creations match the stripes that are on the bonnet. So far I'm only going with them on the boot. After all, I like the color of the car and want to see it!! I'm thinking about a black-out kit but I think I'll try it out in Photoshop first.

 

Rosey should land in New York on the 18th and then bump down the coast to Charleston. Charleston's schedule hasn't changed since the delays so who knows when it'll actually arrive there. I'm guessing it'll be a day late and then get held up b/c of Christmas. I've just got a feeling I'll be picking it up the weekend of the 5th. Which I'm actually ok with otherwise I'd have to park her at the airport over New Years and I'm terrified of that after someone backed into me last New Years. Stupid Drivers...

 

I saw a White MCS topless with stripes down the bonnet/boot..and then there were another diagonal set of stripes on the side...between the door and the rear wheel...they looked super sharp (but it was a JCW with aerokit too).

Look around at the MUTA pic threads...I think it was in there?

 

Hahaha...I'm actually hoping that someone backs into me this New Years! Ohhhh......did I say that, or just think it?

 

Mike, of Aesthetic Creations, is my local club. I've seen some amazing work from him. At the monthly car show we all attend, a Sidewalk Convertible showed up and he did the vinyl work on it. It was absolutely beautiful. He did an excellent job of matching the factory work. Another member has the cover of a Rush album on the roof which is also very stunning! Its dangerous living so close to him!

 

Which Rush Album? I love Rush...never thought of that!

Hmmm...they have an album..HOLD YOUR FIRE....just thought of that!

 

I'd be ok with someone totalling the T-Bird this year but if it was Rosey, someone would have to die... Actually, someone backing into me last year has actually killed my resale on the T-Bird, people want mint T-Birds and since it had a face lift it lowered it's value a lot. Which sucks!!!

The Vapour Trails is awesome. It is over a sunroof so during the day when you are in the car and look up, you see this great fireball. I love it!

The A Farewell to Kings would be interesting and out there too!

 

I'm still thinking of putting something on the roof...but still don't know what yet. I really like the Fireball...but I wouldn't want to copy it...I'll keep thinking...hmmmmm..something with bubbles....Journey, Captured...that might work? Or Don Ho...Tiny Bubbles

We talk about it, and then last night..out of the blue...RUSH announced they are coming back in May for a concert....they haven't been here in 25 years!!!!!!!!

It's been a busy week for spottings! There's been NFRs tooting around all over the neighborhood. There is the big dealer down the road, so don't know how many are local, but....

not only have I got my first good look at a white top (liked it better in person than I thought)....but a solid NFR that I parked right next to! I have a cell phone pic, don't have anything to get it on the 'puter. It was like seeing mommy kissing Santy Claws
