We all like to BELIEVE that. Each in our own state (or country if you count Dennis). Although when I picked up CARJOY, I was told I was the second NFR, not the first (or the ONLY). The first was NFR with white. I have never seen it. It could be another one of those urban legends. But then again, I am living with 4 Million other people so it could be well hidden out there in the jungle amongst the tall glass and cacti!

Exactly what I think. I bought mine in the fall when the sunlight is not direct here in the midwest and i think it looks more maroon. There is no telling what mine is going to look light in the bright summer sun next year. i'm actually kind of excited. I have been in a garage with brighter lights and i think it looks a bit orangish. maybe i was drunk.

Terry & Plasma....welcome officially to the NFR...I'm the Database Man..Stop me while I'm passing by..Oh, I'm the Database Man...(oh, you all know the rest!)
I need some particulars so I can add ya'll into the NFR database! (It's kind of like a passing right!). I need your MINI's name, roof color, stripes, transmission, packages, and any other options such as interior colors, seats, etc etc...anything you can add will be included. Oh...and your locations!
Terry...the former Manitoba Moderator to our MINI club now lives in St Louis...I think he still has a BRG Convert with stripes...he sold me his winter tires when he left the frozen north..if you ever see him, tell him the winter tire guy in Winnipeg says hello!

Hmm...maybe people are buying them and storing them in a barn somewhere? Or maybe it's one crazy person? Or maybe they're being abducted by aliens?

Here's my data:
Car's name: Deimos, Color: NFR Roof/Body, Transmission: Manual, Packages: Cold & Premium, Added: Multi-Function Steering, DSC, Sport Seats, Front Fog Lights, Wheels: 15" Rotator Spokes, Mud Flaps, Interior Color: Black Leatherette, I will probably be adding black bonnet stripes soon after the car arrives. I am located in western Arkansas.
I know of at least one other NFR on the forums from Arkansas. Beyond Tess and myself, I'm not sure if others exist.

The paint was raised up leaving a ridge. I wet sanded it down to smooth, being very careful to catch the particles of paint coming off the bonnet.
Then mixed the paint chips in some thinner and shot it back onto the bonnet with an airbrush. Then I shot some clear over that. You can still see remnants of the scratch, but it is smooth again. Once NFR becomes readily available I will shoot the entire bonnet.
