The sunroof will be the hardest decision, because a) I love sunroofs and b) the wind noise from the sunroof I test drove was un-livable for me. So, if I get it with a sunroof and it makes noise I won't be able to stand the car, and if I get it without a sunroof I'll always wish I had one.

Relax, reelsmith--it's like a puppy. Once they put him in your lap no one can turn him down! Honestly, relax and enjoy the process, and once they hand you the key you'll just be happy the wait is over.

I can't think of anything I would have changed, and didn't have too much trouble with the ordering process. I did want the Xenons and my hubby didn't (I got them), and he wanted the Union Jack mirror covers and I didn't (he got 'em). Other than that it was pretty easy. We did have quite a bit of trouble ordering the interior since the dealer didn't have any information back in December, and I'm still not sure what I got when I selected Fluid Silver, but it all works, and I'm happy. You will be too, I predict!

I pick mine up in 2 days, so when ever i second think anything [if at all its only the color] i look at a picture of it, drool, clean up my puddle of drool, and realize i love the choices i made!

I second guessed about the color. I was all set on Dark Silver until I saw Sparkling Silver in person. I love them both so I think I would have been happy with either.

I second guessed the color a few times (and still do a bit) but my MA said go with your first instinct and he was right.

As for the sunroof, one thing that annoys me about European manufacturers is how they sometimes can't get some small things right. How come Honda or Mazda don't have any noise problems in theirs? I still like the spirit of the European cars though, so I guess I am a perfectionist having to live w/imperfection...

Having said that, I think the noisy sunroofs and the sub-par Hi-Fi systems are just defective... unless the issues are in EVERY car, and I don't think it is the case. Count on me to find out!

I am not doing Xeons. 2 more days before order time!! ARRRRRGGGHHHH!

Ok, I am back to the silver. I just cannot get past the limited interior options Mini has placed on the "Nightfire Red".

My Wife keeps telling, "Please just make up your mind". I keep telling I have made up my mind, about a bazillion times so far.

The dang thing is liable to be nurple-purple when it arrives. OY!

I think it has to get its shots for nurple-purple before they let it into the country... some UN Resolution or something?

Minimagyar, he didn't want to pay the initial price, and the (possible) replacement price for the igniters. He doesn't see the difference. I do, and my eyes are going to be driving it at night.

I'd been planning on this since August, so I got the second-guessing out of my system by the time I ordered in December.
