Hey Guys

ok today i ordered my mini she is LB/B with the premiumpackage and Sport Package DSC and a whole bunch more.

The deal is I did this over the phone, am soon to be returning from being stationed in germany on my way to California. So i used MINI USA to find dealers in the general area i am moveing to.

well to make a long story short i called a few to get the strait p**P right from the hourses mouth.

one dealer i called tried to tell me that there 2500 manditory package they added to the price of the car was standard practice ( it wasnt) told me it was not fluf i would get a extra yr on warenty/floor matrs/ and seurity eching in the glass WOW what a rip off.

any way i called around and decided to use ASSEL MINI they charge stright MSRP which already has the dealer mark up in it and no document fee.

any way thought i would let you guys know what some dealers are trying so now they have lost all business from me.

i mean come on if i am going to pay 27000 for a car dont these guys think i am going to look for the best deal i can get myself. so i have to drive 30 miles further to my dealership but they will get my service business and make even more money off me LOL.

 

Yep, a lot of dealers like to put another couple of grand on top of the msrp. Mini dealers have been doing it for years and getting away with it. If you shop around you can always find an one who doesn't.
