Took a couple of shots of the car today. I'll take some more engine bay shots when I get my Alta Boost/Intake tubes.

This thread needs to stay on page 1...

Here is Noot with a red belt line. It was just an experiment and I settled on black. The tape is cheap and available in many colors...

Love the engine bay pictures. How do you like the strut brace?

It's great. Noticeably stiffens up the front of the car.

That strut brace looks great. Any idea if it clears the ALTA CAI?

What if you get hit by a car on the side? Does the strut brace have an effect the other site of the car too?

I would imagine that an impact strong enough to shift your strut tower would result in a total anyways.

The new arrival in Central Oregon

Here's a few shots of my sweetheart. Named her Gilda in honor of my childhood sweetheart, Rita Hayworth. Yeah, I know it kind of dates me! I picked the car up in Salt Lake City and had the most enjoyable ride of my life coming back to Bend, OR.

How did you travel to the dealership?

Hi sancochojoe:

I flew from Bend to Portland and then a direct Southwest flight to Salt Lake City. The dealer picked me up at the airport.

It's iffy - I've been checking out the pics of the engine bay quite a bit and it looks like it might fit (with a little bit of trimming on the rounded portion of the filter mount).

So far the Alta CAI looks like the winner to me of the ones I've seen so I'll most likely end up buying it and making whatever small modifications I need to do to make it fit perfectly (no rattling/etc.)

My boost/intake tubes are (hopefully) coming soon, so I'll have some updated pics once I get those on. I'll also be doing a baseline dyno of my car and subsequent dynos every time I add a mod :0)

Congratulations. Gilda looks great and makes a nice addition to the Oregon Mini lineup.
