For those of you who might be thinking of swapping out your GP OEM Kumho's with a tire that combines "ultra high performance" (W & Y speed rated) AND a great handling all season, all weather tire you might be interested in the latest offering from Michelin.

Pilot Sport A/S 3, Ultra-High Performance Sport. They come in the Mini requisite "alternate" 205/45ZR 17 size, so it has virtually the same aspect ratio (i.e, >by 6.25mm / .25in).

How do you like the bms clutch stop? I just ordered it last week and waiting for it to arrive. Can you notice a huge difference compared to stock?

 

Thanks! It's 30% all around, definitely looks darker in these photos than it does in real life.

 

I like it a lot actually. I think you'll be surprised how much better the clutch feels when you just get rid of the dead travel. I also forgot to mention i have the alta diverter valve spring upgrade. when you combine the spring/clutch stop/and short shifter. if i line up revs and shifts perfectly i can get a small chirp out of 3rd more often times than not. i'm hoping to get a nice big chirp when i get JB+.

 

Heres my 2008 Cooper, Nightfire Red, no major mods apart from Blue tint headlight bulbs and Clear indicators, oh and a 10" subwoofer in the boot..

Hello everyone! Was hesitant to post pics of my Mini because of all the great looking babies you guys have. In any case, I've decided to join the fun. Here she is, a 2010 matic S with 16k kms when I picked it up from the dealer a couple of weeks ago. Due to the high humidity in this side of the world, one of the first things I did was had a pair of seat covers made to protect the leather. I don't think I can post that in this thread though.

Also installed a black jack boot cover (made locally), Black Jack door pull & glove box covers (ordered online) & checkered rear view mirror covers. Next project, hood stripes.
