R56 Please post pictures of your R56 here...
Thanks a lot Adam.
It is all done with PlastiDip under the original purpose of protection. I found some rock chips in the lower bumper area and on the main center area. I chose to PlastiDip them to clean it up and ended up really liking the result.
Tips for others:
If anyone plans to do this tape it off and remove the tape while the PlastiDip is wet otherwise it bonds the tape to the bumper and rips. For extra coats just retape and remove once wet again. I did one very heavy coat and two thinner coats. The first coat was so heavy it started to run and i had to use a credit card to keep the lines not filled in. Dont be afraid to smudge the plasti totally off to remove problem areas, two coats of plasti are thick enough to fill in all the spots.

I would so love to get one of those turbo diesel bonnets for my S, I think it looks so much better without the fake scoop.

I'm sure that you could use it for any model if you want to. The PlastiDip does sound like a good idea though..... hmmmmm PlastiDip your whole car????? lol jk.

tmo8462: I'm sure Lyles would have a solution for the S-bumpers as well
Thanks I'm sure they would be able to accommodate anything I wanted to get done.
I love the type M's.... if they weren't double the price of my Feather's I definitely would have them.

Nice. I see now why this is an R56 only thread. So we won't be constantly reminded that the R53 looks better.
I would not have thought to put white rims* on an all black car but that looks really sweet.
*or are they silver?

And I love both the R53 and R56 that's why I put on the R56 JCW skirts
Cheers
That is too kool! Have you posted up more details on how you made some of those mods someplace? Would love to see how you did those skirts! (And I am sure others would too!)
