nice car, great shots.

I've been contemplating painting my sivler/chrome parts black ...I go back and forth can't decide if I want to go for it or not. On your car it looks nice w/ the chrome.

Yeah they look nice. But they must be a pain to keep clean - all those spokes to hit with the brush!

I ended up with the "Web Spokes", which is about the same, but has the bolt "nubs" that stick out which can take some time to clean around. I will be trying a coat of wax on them this weekend and see if that helps a bit.

The "Cross Spoke" looks even worse as has more spokes it seems and the bolt nubs around the outsides...

Web Spoke __________Cross Spoke

Yeah, I am leaning towards blacking everything out. On these boards it's quite common, yet I rarely see Mini's w/ blacked out trim on the road.

Excellent color. I love the Horizon Blue and Oxygen Blue (but that only comes in the MC). I've got flame spokes and they are easily cleaned with a mitt, don't bother with a brush (tried that already). The blackout theme is good, I can take it or leave it personally. What I can really leave is the checkered thing. I think that was bigger with the R53 set.

M3This - awesome car, love the pics.

I see you have the new air ducts & bigger splitter, they look great.

Can we have some more shots of the exhuast please? I'm presuming you definatley have the Factory Works, yes?

The reason I ask is because from the pics it looks like it has JCW branded chrome tips, like on the JCW Stage 1 exhaust?

I really want to replace my JCW Stage 1 exhaust with the back box from the Factory Works, but until now I thought it only came with the dull non-branded tips. If it now comes with the JCW tips it will seal the deal for me!

Idk what it is about this, but it just looks great. That new blue is awesome and really seems like the best match with chrome. The roof and side mirrors almost look silver which would be awesome if they brought that back

yeah, I am really torn 'bout the black out look. It makes our Mini's more aggresive looking, yet not sure if it makes it cheaper looking too? I am nearly 40 ..so I don't want my car to look like a teenager car ...most of my mods have been in the performance area ...only thing I've done for the looks is tinted windows (light tint) and high performance tires on nice rims.

With and without the rims. Honestly if the Crowns weren't so chewed up I might have kep them on. But damn those Enkei rims look good.

Yep the car is the factory JCW car ... just go it this weekend and they said its the first Aero kit they have seen with the brake ducts. As far as the tips go they are chrome, but im not sure if they say JCW on them anywhere ... I can go look thou.

Im right there with you as I just turned 30. I want the car to look more aggressive yet not like Im in High School. Thats why Im going all polished wheels and keeping the belt line chrome. I have blacked out the headlight rings, tail light rings, gas cap, and going to do the door handels as well. So its sort of a mix of blacking out.
