Nice shots, Creeve! That doesn't look like any part of campus I've ever seen. Go Hokies!

I am in the college of architecture here at VT. We have a couple of off campus facilities that are used among other things for constructing full scale structures and models. That is what the weird trussed metal structure is, some sort of structural model.

Great choice of wheels! That interior is awesome too!

I've been waiting for our dealer to get an MBM MINI in because I'm pretty sure that's what I want to order. After seeing your photos - I'm convinced it is the color I want...

Georgeous looking MINI and the color combination is terrific!

I agree. I also had no idea what the difference was between laser blue and electric blue based on the pics on here. I had to see two cars in both colors sitting side by side and then be told which one was which to get it. Best to see the colors in person first IMO.

Isn't midnight black a "blacker" black than astro black? It looks like it from pictures.

Thanks for your kind comments about my new MINI

I can honestly say, Black is BACK!! Midnight is a true deep, glossy black. It is metallic and when the sun shines you can see silvery and black metallic flakes, which make it look stunning!!

I ordered without seeing as I just knew it would be better than Astro Black, and I just had to have a Black MINI anyway!

If you liked the old Cosmos Black or solid Black II, this is a combination of both and is awesome...I love it

I have to agree! I stopped by my dealer the other day and they had one in. It is simply a stunning black. I can honestly say I've never seen a blacker black on a car. It is metallic, but the chips are so small, you really have to look to see them.

I had my local dealer part an '05 jet black next to the new midnight black and they are VERY close. Now MINI just needs to offer the red lounge leather with the cabrio.

I can totally identify with that. It's just like I can't understand why you can't get the hot chocolate leather steering wheel if you have an automatic... makes no sense!

Midnight black is amazing. If it were me and I ordered a midnight black I would totally get black painted arches too. My first MB mini I saw was an '09 with the factory aero kit. I dont like the factory aero but on this color it works
