R56 Please post pictures of your R56 here...
We are in Seattle, but they didn't have this car a month ago. It just came in...
beautiful car! i'm in seattle as well. did you get it down at Northwest MINI? i couldn't handle the wait ... so ended up going back to the dealer where i got my R53 (MINI of Nashville). i ordered on 3/22 and it's just now arriving in the States!
After Two Months It's Finally Here...
Here are a couple of pictures of my new baby: Mellow Yellow w/ a Black Roof, White Turn Signal Indicators, Xenons, Front and Rear Foglights & Rotator Spoke Wheels. Black Lounge Leather Interior with the English Oak Dash, Cream White Color Line, & the Chrome Ring Interior.
I got the 6-Speed Manual, the regular suspension, and ASC - So far I've got no complaints in the power and handling departments. I opted for the premium and cold weather packages - I've been happy with both though I think you need to drop the side windows a little bit to cut down on the wind noise from the sunroof (I don't remember having to do this in my '04 R53) I decided to spec the auto-dimming rearview mirror/universal garage door opener, rain sensing wipers, and Bluetooth - My only gripe is that I can't get the car to pick up my contacts from my phone...I sprung for the hi-fi sound system and have no complaints (though I'm not convinced that the standard radio would not have been adequate for my needs) If anyone has any questions, let me know - I debated probably every option in the configurator.

We had an experience at NWMini that was unbelievable after 3 attempts, we still could not get them to give us a final out the door price for one they had on the floor (they kept changing it upwards) so we walked and found one with the exact color combination and options we would have special ordered from a dealer in SoCal.
We are now starting mods. How about you? Tint tomorrow, then the wheels come off to get the centers powder coated, and a host of other things...

Thanks, we are enjoying it. The waiting is tough! What color/options did you order?

i went down to NWMini to try to get an R53 a few years back and got a really snotty attitude plus the 10-month-plus-wait lecture. (apparently, the Internet is a foreign topic down there.) i went online and found a great MA at MINI of Nashville who got me a car in my hands -- including transport across the country -- in 8 weeks.
their allocation must be awful.right now, i'm debating flying to Nashville and driving the R56 back ... at least part of the way.
i've got a LiB/B on the way and i can't wait!

My only complaint is that the Web Spokes I ordered didn't come with the car. I don't mind the look of the Crown Spokes, but I hate having the lug nuts covered up. Rather have S-lites. It sounds like the dealer got a set for me this week, but I need to wait to my next availible weekend to make the 150mi drive to have 'em installed.
