Hi there! I'm new to NAM and thought you might like this photo of my brand new LightningJCW. Pure Silver R56 with JCW aero kit, tuning, suspension and cf parts, heated leather, anthracite, lsd, sunroof, bluetooth and cool folding mirrors. Completely stock for now....
It's a very nice compromise between the soft sport suspension and the harsh ride I've experienced with a lowered R56 on Mach V springs. Everything is predictable which I think is the most important factor, plus not cringing when I see a bump ahead. I would like a little lower profile, but from my experience, lowering brings with it a lot of concerns such as bottoming out with a full load and some weird noises which a lot of people report. I also like that I can take it into the dealer and let them deal with a problem if it arises. My money is on the German MINI engineers who have college degrees as opposed to one man tuning shops who hawk their wares online.

Nicely done... Did you have the deflectors on the underside of the aerokit removed? I'm looking at getting the suspension kit this fall and I know that the deflectors on the bottom of my aerokit scrape the ground now when bumps or slight inclines are encountered.

I don't wash it much in the winter or especially in the spring...mud season is what we call it here in the Rockies. She cleans up real nice come summer.

Thanks. The deflectors are still on and I notice scraping only on very steep driveways and even then it's not too bad.
Here's my '08 MCS. I've got the JCW stage 1 kit, sport suspension and I just did springs (H&R) and rear sway (H-Sport Comp bar). Also a good amount of JCW bits (Front bumper, steering wheel, shifter), and plenty of creature comforts

Wow! Look at those mountains!! =) Completely Awesome!
new Flame Spoke white with Pirelli P zero nero (not Run flat) & EIBACH springs
Nice! The flame spokes actually do look good in white! By the way, any comment on the pirellis? How do they ride (I heard that they had a soft sidewall)? Traction?
