Just wondering...

Did anyone from the west coast receive their MC yet? (All the cars from the "asian emperor".)

My MA (John from Desert Mini in Vegas, he's the absolute best, IMHO) said she should be here by next week.

These last two months has been the longest wait! :impatient

apparently, not too many people from Asian Emperor on here... or none that are dying for their cars...

anyway, my DS/DS MCS 2007 was on the Asian Emperor... still no word from my MA in San Jose, CA. He did say something about it coming sometime next week... I wish it could be earlier... *sigh*

It is on the way to the dealer in Denver...

 

Mine's in dealer in Torrance. Got there last night. Now getting some JCW bits. Will likely pick up on Wednesday.

 

Got a call from my MA at East Bay Mini in Pleasanton, CA today my car will be ready for pick up on Monday yaya!

 

Gonna pick mine up on Monday at Southbay MINI, woohoo!

I've not heard a thing from East Bay Mini and I was on the AE......Right I'm phoning them right now!

 

Hey Cooper2u, I've ordered the driving lamps as well, did they tell you how much the fitting would cost, as I couldn't pin them down to a price.

 

Saw my 1st MCS at east bay mini. Needed to be PDI'd. I think it would be avail for pickup this week if I wanted it. (NO MFSW) I'll be waiting until next month to get car #2.

 

At the original price quote it was $400 for installation. I should find out the exact price tomorrow when my MA calls me with my grand total. They do not have the driving lamps right now, so they will have to be installed at a later date, the lamps haven't been released from MINI yet, but I am totally getting them I love the way they make the car look. I pick my car up on Tuesday, how about you?

 

I phoned EB Mini and our car is still at the VDC....but he said it should arrive on Saturday, so I may be able to pick it up on Sunday/Monday (fingers crossed). Thanks for the info on the lamps, didn't know they were't available yet.

 

Looks like I will be getting my car tomorrow now, since I will be getting my window tint and a few extra little accessories. I am so excited, bet you are too, what are your specs?

 

Taking delivery this wednesday at Mountain View Mini... MA seemed kinda rushed about getting it out before the end of the month... has anyone else experienced this end-of-the-month rush?

 

My MC was on the Asian Emperor too - but for some reason it hasn't made it to the dealer yet...I've been tracking it and just yesterday switched from "En Route" to "at Vehicle Distribution Center." The wait is so much harder as you near the finish.

 

Picking up my MC tomorrow! It's finally here! Woo HOO!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think that'll be good for me then =/ Just for the fact that I do not want to be rushed while I'm going over everything in the checklist... I guess I'll have to soldier on.

A rush getting it out before the end of the month doesn't mean the delivery process has to be rushed.. Unless you plan on staying at the dealership a few days signing papers.

Your MA should spend a pretty decent amount of time showing you how to operate everything (assuming he/she knows how! - it's all new)

 

We went for BRG/White roof and stripes, sport and comfort packages and the cool driving lamps.

I still haven't got my new wheels yet....Now that I've cancelled all the accessories, (as they are all unavailable) I hope to pick the car up on Sunday.

 

I wonder if I'll be the last one from the Asian Emperor...I'm still waiting...it's been difficult, knowing it's so close...but I think I'm finally going numb.

 

Mine came in to Denver on Monday and we took delivery last night. I thought it was probably one of the last delivered.
