I think is one of those fish that "blow up" when feel threatened by a nearby predator....You can see where I am going with the analogy.

I don't have Photoshop here but if anyone wants to add stripes, side mirrors, antenna, wheels, etc. Feel free!

So is he a blowfish?
p.s...I think side mirrors would be tacky as the little guy already has fins

You should all be ashamed of yourselves.......
I have recently been to R56 Sensitivity Training and I do not think that the gross exaggerations of it's bulbous snout are funny or have a place on this forum.

I have talked to the Moderators and have passionately recommended that a separate Website be set up for big meany heads like C4, Erik the Zipper, and their jealous, hate-filled cohorts. This Website will allow them to post their hate of the R56 and not bother the rest of us.

Under my proposal, future members of NAM will have to undergo a rigorous interview process in which we postively make sure that they have only positive things to say about the R50, the R53 and the R56 - regardless of whether they have actually driven one or not. Additionally, under the New Universal Motoring Forum Understanding Car Compassion guidelines (NUMFUCC), the prime requirement for membership is that you actually have to own a Mini. This will keep troublemakers and malcontents like Chows4Us away from our tender flock.

It is of prime importance that you clowns realize that a car is the ultimate extension of a persons ego. If you make fun of my car, you have insulted me. The aim of the guidelines is to provide a supportive forum in which only real fans of all things Mini can congregate and rehash the same crap day after day.

As such, Forum titles such as "Beneath the Bonnet (2006+)" will be renamed "Glorious Intended Idiosyncrasies of the R53" and "Coupe Talk (2007+)" will be renamed "All Hail the Almighty R56".

Thanks for your support!

Not funny - and inaccurate to boot - talk about a stretch.

I ask that the moderators lock this thread and beat you all silly for your mean-spirited insensitivity.

(btw: In order to be more accurate the blowfish should have a huge panel gap between the eye and the eyesocket).

Lighten up people!
I needed a good laugh.

New site guideline: Opinions will not be tolerated, only boring technical jargon and non-Photochomped photos will be allowed.

Chilomycterus schoepfi - A Spiny Box Puffer. Also known as the Porcupine Puffer.

Cute fish but don't let the looks fool you. Can't have it with a reef tank 'cause it'll eat all your corals. It'll also go after smaller, weaker fish. It's venomous (in the spines, obviously) and poisonous (in the skin and a large gland in the body - so trust your sushi chef if you opt for the puffer).

Nice car. Notice that the headlights are looking straight ahead and not displaced to the sides like a fish...
