Yahoo........My car is at the VDC in NJ along with 93 others delivered today(or yesterday).......... Now the other wait starts.....based on what I have read here, could be a while.........
Let's hope they need to start clearing out the VDC to make room for the new arrivals!
I read somewhere that the VDC can hold 3,000 cars though. Yikes! Let's see 3,000 cars and maybe 8 cars per carrier... it'll only take 375 trucks to clear it out!!!
This is definitely the hardest wait as there just isn't any information. Track the thing across the ocean sure - even "smart" billboards in a few markets around the US that know when you're driving by and say "hi" but no information about what's going on at the VDC [sigh]. That makes me think - what happens when a truck full of Mini's drive by the new billboards?
Mine just arrived this evening at 19:45. Looks like I'll be picking it up tomorrow. It didn't even show up on the shipping system - it just showed up with one other MINI for the dealership.

You'd think they could have thrown my mini on that truck since they had to go past my dealer to get to yours (assuming you're at Sterling). Maybe the next truck!
She's on her way! I hope to pick her up in Peabody on 2/28. Now I just have to find a buyer for my perfectly fine Honda Accord. I'm trying out various old-fashioned, stodgy, British, female names for the new addition and am waffling between "Hortense" and "Wallace". Any suggestions?
My wife ordered her MC on 12/20 and it hit the shores on 2/5 and has been in Jeresey since then. Mini Towson told me on 2/22 to be ready to come in on 2/26 or 2/27.
