2007 brochures

Anybody know if they're out yet?

I have about 400 miles 'til my next service. So, I'm hoping it would be at the dealership by the time I stop by.

I got the big brochure. My MA said they have very limited quantity of them. It shows many detailed pics of the exterior and interior.

You can order one from miniusa.com. Click on the Shop link from the main page and it's in there. I ordered one a week or so back but haven't received it yet.

I'm pretty sure the one you order at the website is the small one. I ordered one when I was buying my 2005 MC and that's what I was sent.

My dealer received a limited supply of the larger brochures. They're not giving them out freely, but he did give me one. It's really nice.

And speaking of the brochure, I did read in there that the size of the MC gas tank has been reduced, 10.6 gallons as opposed to the older 13.2, which doesn't thrill me. Also, the clock alternates with the digital speed readout which I also don't care for. I'd like a clock to be constant so I can glance at it whenever I want without having to push a button.

I got a big one from Menzies in Scotland about 3 months ago ( I have connections ) But the steering wheel is on the "wrong side" of the car.

If you go on mini2 and look at the dealers in europe - some will be happy to send you a catalog. It's kind of interesting to see what is avail. overseas and compare it to what MINIUSA has.

Yes it is interesting....but I've been so scarred in the past, getting all excited about reported options that, in the end, got suddenly yanked from the U.S. market. Now I'm skittish about even looking at the options available abroad. Actually, it was the loss of Electric Blue from U.S. Coopers that set me off ........I guess I have trust issues.

What I loved was how about a month ago, they're advertising the new cars on the MiniUSA website, but still mailing out the old brochures when you asked for one.

When I wrote to Mini customer service, they said they were sorry they didn't specify which brochure they were sending. Didn't say they were sorry they sent out the old one, only that they didn't tell me it was the old one.

Yeah, that's the one I want. I would just assume you sent out the old brochures until you didn't have any of them, or the cars they represent, left.

Can you explain what is in the big brochures? Some of the Brits were talking in November about a volume that seemed booksize.

big brochures - the ones that are about 11"x11" not the small accordian ones that are 4"x4". - dealers have some of those now.
