Odd Request
Does anyone have there MINI Spec from back before the White Turn Signals took a price increase?
Like you saved your MINI Spec and had it sent to you? I can't seem to locate mine and I oddly need it to prove to my dealership so I can get my $100 back since my car went into production before the price change..
If you do have it.. feel free to PM me.. (Sorry for such senseless spam)

I nobody answers and I guess even if they do can I suggest you contact MINi and have them let you know when they made the change (officially in the Configurator) and ask them to email that info to you -- that way if your order was placed prior to that change then your dealer would have to admit that the price you expected was $0. How could you have expected a charge. Sounds logical but I'm not exactly sure logic takes the drivers seat in these matters. Good Luck!

They ignored the whole fact that my car had already gone in production before the price change
My MA then called the customer service guy infront of me and he said he would have to do it at dealership level, so he contacted his regional and this is what has come up now.
My MA is great though and is completely on my side but the dealership seems strict on discounts so he has to go all out to fix this issue..
I'm interested in this as well. I have a great MA, but a $100 is a $100. MINI USA should do the right thing here.
I have my sales contract showing the price as zero. Any change to this contract without notification to the affected parties can void the contract under UCC.
I don't want to lose the car...but that $100 is $100 less I have to borrow..

This seems like a silly thing for the dealership to take a hard line on. It's 100.00 for goodness sake. I suppose they are betting that you will not turn the car down and take your business elsewhere.
What bothers me the most is that the first owners will possibly have to deal with "niggles" regarding the function or fit of these cars in the US market which is somewhat (and to a limited amount) expected and accepted by most people -- we know what that there may me minor issues we will be returning to the dealers with (covered under warrenty -- and reinbursed my MINI corporate). So the dealers probably will have a greater percar profit than lets say cars in a year or so.
As new model owners I think many of us are prepared for this possibility of inconvienence. These issues are no fault of the owners. I would think knowing that fact MINI or any manufacturer would accept that small issues relative to pricing mistakes on their part before anyone even has their cars would be accepted as a company loss and an area to impove in the future both for customer relations and to improve their profit in the long run.
The MFSW is a another example. I'm not impressed with what I am hearing or with the level of confidence that if I have an issue in the future I will be treated in a fair and even way. This does not sound like a good start.
