so... according to them, the S has variable valve timing? I thought it was just the un-turbo'd Cooper engine

Nice review but he kinda blew off the Cooper proving he doesn't get some part of the whole thing. Still, glad he was impressed.

This has confused me a few times, but I think the S has variable valve timing, the Cooper has variable valve timing and variable valve lift.
