I agree, the wood dash and steering wheel look phenomenal!!! I'm sure it would look most at home in highly optioned interior astro black or pepper white.

 

Right after my last post I went on MINIUSA's site and could not find this option anywhere. Thanks for the pics, I don't feel so bad as I don't like the presentation shown........at least not for my car.I agree, with all the rest of the wood shown,(dash etc) it would be quite classy. I did buy a wooden oem shift **** (MOSS) and like it better than the leather bound original.

 

Since the configurator for the R56 isn't up and running, I highly doubt you'll see it on MINI USA's site.

You MIGHT get a shot of it on MINI Germany, France or Switzerland, since their 2007 configurator is up... but they all kinda' suck (IMO-and I can read two of 'em, too!). I'm hoping the US version is a bit more user friendly and prvides more shots of all the new-never seen options.

So I ditched the sport pkg because I don't want DSC, and I don't want 17" wheels. I love xenons but they are expensive to replace and pretty much for looks in my opinion. I was thinking about how crappy the roads are here and think the 16" wheels would less likely get chewed up by the crappy road/potholes. Also since I've seen on motoringfile or mini2 (can't remember which one) that the car's suspension was designed with 16s in mind it seems like a better choice. I may or may not get the cloth/leather and the piano black. I need to see those in person first hopefully.
