Let's post our 2007 MC/MCS Specs and prices
MCS - 21,850.00
Sport Suspension - 500 Comfort Key Access - 500 Auto Dimming Rearview - 200 Metallic Paint - 450 (Probably Blue/Black or Dark Grey/Black) Cloth-Leather Seating - 1000 (Blue) Limited Slip Diff - 500 Colorline Pacific Blue - 200 (unsure if the colorline is thrown in for free with the two-tone seats. It kinda reads that way in the price sheet) Hi-Fi Radio - 550 Sport Pkg - 1400 Total: 27,150 !!!!!! WOW... I kinda wanted to keep it in the 25-26k range. I may drop the Cloth/Leather seats and color line. Edit: Here is a minimal Spec I'm considering: MCS - 21,850 Sport Suspension - 500 Limited Slip Diff - 500 Metallic Paint - 450 Total: 23,300 Medium Spec? MCS - 21,850 Sport Suspension - 500 Limited Slip Diff - 500 Metallic Paint - 450 Sport Package - 1400 Total: 24,700 Ok So I admit I'm going nuts. hahahha.... |
MSC
Hyper Sport Package Audio Package LSD Xenon Lights Antracite Headliner Sparkling Silver Cloth Seats $26,350 |
(Hyper Sport Package) Any photos of the R56 with an Aerokit? Or even drawings or sketches?
|
Here's my R56 build:
MINI Cooper S (w/ Dest.) - 21850 Premium Package - 1400 Sport Suspension - 500 Limited Slip Diff. - 500 Laser Blue w/ white roof - 450 Color Line - Pacific Blue - 200 Alloy Interior Trim - 300 Rear Foglamps - 100 Total - 25300 I've thought of a stripped build like fjork posted, but my plan is for my R56 to be my car for at least 20 years, so I'm getting what I want to have the comfort options I want plus the "track options" for if I get adventurous with track days and possibly some Solo II events in the future. |
MCS 21,850
Automatic Transmission 1350 Premium Package 1400 Sport Package 1400 Interior 1200 NAV 2100 Total $29,300 |

(OR MARKUP!) |
Don't know prices, but...
Black w/ black S
Premium package Cold weather package Comfort key access Premium stereo (anything they've got that improves sound, ipod, but no Sirius) garage door opener Xenon lights chrome exterior (grill, mirrors, back hatch handle, and whatever) limited slip diff sport suspension JCW 18" Wheels JCW brakes JCW air filter? JCW black leather seats Chromeline interior piano black or wood dash Wood steering wheel front and boot mats Am I over $30k? Think so. They've got my $1,000 deposit. |
MCS Base - 21200
Destination - 650 Pepper White & roof - 0 DSC - 500 LSD - 500 MultiFunction Leather Wheel - 550 Cold Weather Pack - 300 16" Bridgespokes - 0 Rear Fogs - 100 Piano Black Trim - 200 Cloth Seats - 0 Total 24000 |
Here's my spec:
MC :18700 Sparkling silver/ black roof $450 Tuscan beige leather: $1350 ?? Oak dash: $300 Oak sport wheel: $550 Automatic: $1350 Cold Weather: $300 Arm rest: $200 ?? Total :$23,200 Not a bad price I am debating the premium package, but I have a moonroof now I hardly use so that piece would be a waste, I made some assumptions on some prices. I am under the understanding that the oak dash is available separatly($300) but another source suggests that it is only allowed in conjunction with the punch leather seats, which is correct? I am also under the understanding that any full leather choice included color line at no additional charge? I beleive that cream color line is default with tuscan beige. patiently on a wait list........Kyle |

I just got off the phone with him. The timeline he gave me is that he expects to get the 12/06 production run, which is all factory-configured "standard" models, in January.
He's going to get me to come down during the short window when he expects to actually have them in-store to look them over and then finalize my specs. Most of my options are not available until 3/07, so he expects delivery in late March to early April, assuming nothing is delayed. So, let the wait begin... THanks, Fullpint! |
Mcs - 21850
mellow yellow/black - nc Panoramic sunroof - $850 16" bridge spokes - nc Limited Slip - $500 Colorline Mellow Yellow - $200 Leatherette - nc Hyper sport package - $1400 Total - $24,800 I'm not 100% committed to the aero kit, I'll have to see the car with and without in person first. That would drop $900, but I might decide to add the comfort key feature, which would add $500. I'll do aftermarket bonnet stripes (I don't like the white border on the black stripes) and quite possibly aftermarket driving lamps. Eventually aftermarket wheels as well. |
Hmmm....did cruise control just go from $200 to $550? I can't tell if it is available without getting the $550 wheel. If so, that will make me unhappy.
|
I'm not ordering yet until the demos are in...
...and I gotta use the configurator...I can be patient...I think...
Interesting that I see cockpit chrono pack on the list... |
Aw, heck
I broke down. I don't even want to know prices.
MCS DS/DS (maybe PS/B) Lounge Black Leather Color line Cream White (Although I could be talked into cloth-leather read w/red CL maybe, seats and color line are my iffies at the moment) Premium Package w/leather wheel Sport Package w/Web Spoke (will check out other optional wheels) (if DS/DS no bonnet stripes because that requires non-body-color roof) (if PS/B then maybe black bonnet stripes. maybe.) Convenience Package w/phone prep Sport Suspension Park/Distance Control White Turn Indicators (emphatically!) Powerfold/Heated Mirrors (is that either or both) Piano Black Dash or Brushed Alloy Rear Fog Lamp Hi-Fi Sound System Anthracite Headliner Yep, dark and sleek. I don't want the dark wheels though. Plus a handful of dealer-installed stuff. |
First showroom new car for me (and probably the last for some time), so I want all the bells, whistles and special touches to make it my own:
MCS - $21,850 Dark Silver Metallic paint (w/ white roof)- $450 Sport Pack (+web spokes) - $1900 Premium Pack - $1400 Cold Pack - $300 Sport Suspention - $500 Limited Slip Differential - $500 Redwod Red Lounge Leather - $1900 Anthracite Headliner - $200 Chrome Lined Interior - $200 Hi Fi Stereo - $550 Grand Total (- tax and licenseing) - $29750 |
leatherette
HI there:
I have checked the specs for 2007 MCS and discovered that the standard leatherette (which was black in 2006) is now grey. Is this true? If so, can we order black leatherette as an option? Or is the black lounge leather really worth the extra 1200 or whatever? thanks |

I'm ashamed to admit that I did a spec on my new MINI.....ashamed because I'm not getting it til '08.:eek2: I just couldn't resist.
So here's the gist: Cooper - CR/W sport seats fogs (front and rear, but couldn't find the price of rear) exterior chrome color line "stuff" holeys...looks like they may still be available so I'll gladly do those again. ...all that was under $20K plus cloth/leather interior and maybe a few other bits ...final price should be around $21K or so. I can definitely live with that. |

I thought on the PDF it states black/grey for the leatherette seats
