Link doesn't work. I'd only opt for a Panoramic roof thorugh Mini. I would hate to have to deal w/ an aftermarket supplier over a bad sunroof, besides it might get in the way of structural integrity. I'm sure the R56 will be @ the L.A. show in the next several weeks, they'll have plenty of cars avaiable for show-goers to sit in and look at. I'll have a better idea of how I want my car equipped then.

There's also a chance that water will leak in if you put in an aftermarket sunroof. I currrently own an Infiniti FX with a sunroof. Compared to the MINI sunroof, it sucks. The MINI sunroof is a lot bigger compared and cooler looking. I would not get a MINI w/ out a sunroof.

Unfortunately that's not the case.

And I'll ad a vote to the no-aftermaket sunroof crowd. There are few things that make me cringe more than the thought of an aftermaket sunroof being shoe-horned into the MINI.

While I agree about aftermarket sunroofs wholeheartedly, I think Webasto deserves special consideration in that they are the company who makes the cabrio roof and have been in the game with Minis and MINIs from the get-go. If anybody can do it right, they can.

That and some type of 1-2" drop (a set of lower Eibach or H&R springs).

Somthing like this... but with a white roof and mirrors and black wheels instead of gold (to steal Daillestchop's work):

now that looks hot!

Whoa, that's crazy. I'll still wait until the show starts... doesn't make sesnse especially since the car will be in S.F. shortly (as reported here earlier). Not to say that either of us is wrong or right.

I decided the s/r is a must, can't quite picture life w/out one, even though I do use the one I have on my current car all tha often. It's nice to know you have the option, epsecially for those eveninig drives down PCH.

Yes, I think I read that somewhere as well. It automaticly brakes when you're on a hill.

I think this feature is only available with DSC, but then I could be wrong.
