I am running into an issue where I am getting the following codes when I revert back to my stock tune for emissions testing. I have done this in the past without trouble but now can't get the O2 or Cat monitors to come ready.
P0136:
P0141: post cat heater circuit
2d13: post cat o2 sensor resistance too high
2d22: post cat 02 line disconnection
I have a new Bosch sensor on, and have an aftermarket Akrapovic cat that's ~4.5 years old. I'm not 100% sure how to test the wire to the DME, but Lou suggested the issue is the cat is not restrictive enough and the O2 sensor isn't heating up fast enough.
I'd love any advice on eliminating the electrical side of this and if anyone has a stock downpipe they have removed and would like to sell.
Use a multimeter to test the post-cat heater voltage and ground wires, which may be broken. Verify that the post-cat connector is fully seated and inspect the connector pins.

Thanks, any suggestions on how to get at the connector with the car running? There's not a lot of slack on it, so wasn't sure if I could try and extend the wires from the plug. Trying not to lose some skin from the fan Thanks!
Buy an inexpensive backprobe kit (e.g., HFT). Backprobe the ground and/or power pin when engine is off and cold. Connect each installed backprobe pin to the appropriate multimeter lead. Start engine to make each reading.
Most scanners now can run 02' sensor tests and force it to test the heating element and response/wave graph thingy.
but Lou is correct, the high-flow catalytic converter is the issue. Stock tune needs a high enough cell converter or that rear 02 will throw a code.. and UNFORTUNATELY this dang ecu is so finicky you can't run an 02 defouler/spacer to trick it and shut off the cel like alot of other vehicles can. Most performance catalytic converter are 1-200cell and the janky ebay ones are only a 300cell and NONE will pass emissions.
I've tried EVERY type and combination of the 02 spacers and they just won't work and when I mean I tried everything i tried everything, i even have an extra bung for my wideband amd i tried relocatingthe rear 02 to that bung but no luck,I can get it to throw different rear 02 codes with different spacers but the 02 light always comes back on. Sometimes it will take a few drive cycles and sometimes it will comes on after 10min only BUT no matter what combination the rear 02 monitors will either say pending OR failed. Both of which flunk you for emissions.
so unfortunately for emissions, IF they flag you for a tune ( which has never happened to me ) then unfortunately a stock dp and reverting back to stock tune just to pass emissions is your only route. But like I said atleast hear in Wisconsin I've passed emissions using 02 spacers ( my focus st and sti ) and I've passed with my last r58 that had a catless dp and custom tune ( n14 jcw amd was tuned by AdrianCL )..
But lol we should get a pass. I mean Trump only made it ILLEGAL for the epa to say smog has ANY negative effects on our health.
