Hi everyone,I have a 2012 MINI Cooper R56 1.6L. Originally halogen headlights. About 8 months ago I switched to LED bulbs for brighter light. It worked fine initially, but now the right (passenger side) low beam / dipped beam doesn't work at all, while the high beam / main beam on the same side works normally.I swapped back to a good halogen bulb—still no low beam. Fuse is checked and good. Scanned with ISTA—no obvious codes helping, or maybe I missed something. Tried Tools32 to reset short circuit counters/adaptations, no luck.ChatGPT thinks the FRM (Footwell Module) chip for the right low beam output might be damaged, possibly from the LED swap stressing it.Has anyone had this exact issue—one side low beam dead, but high beam fine after LED conversion? Or know the FRM pinout/wiring diagram specifically for the low beam circuits on 2012 R56? I pulled the FRM and checked MOSFETs with a multimeter, but not sure which pins are for right low beam (e.g., which pin drives it?).Any ideas on the real cause? Repair FRM? Bypass? Or something else? Thanks a lot!

I already checked the voltage at the low beam connector/wire. It's only showing 3.19V (should be around 12V+ with the engine running), but at least it's not 0V, so the cable/wiring isn't completely broken/open—just has a major voltage drop somewhere.
Have you inspected the wiring inside the headlight? I had a headlight go out in my '09 justa, and replaced the bulb ... light still out. Upon closer inspection, I found all of the wiring insulation was gone on the wiring inside the headlight. I checked the opposite headlight and found the same thing. I replaced both headlights with CAPA certified units from Rock Auto. All is well again.
