Working on reassembling the Chile Pepper - 2007 R56s - noticed that the bracket which holds the A/C suction line to the radiator support is broken. OK, no problem...go to realoem.com, look up the part, ordered, all's good, right?
Nope. It's wrong, doesn't fit. It's not the bracket that connects to the radiator support, it's the bracket that holds the line near the harmonic balancer.
So I go on realoem this morning, will just order again (I don't mind having an extra new one on the shelf, it was only $12), and here's the rub....realoem lists the same part number for both brackets. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME PART.
Has anyone else run in to this? Can anyone @ECSTuning have any insight/info? This would apply to the entire GenII platform, any cars with the N14/N18 motor.
Picture from realoem, showing the two different brackets - 15 and 23 - with the same part number.
Yea, i think when realoem updated it messed up the data, but NOW its shows up to 2025 models!! I have seen this happen on other parts. Rare but happens.
