The updated configurator for 2008 should be online pretty soon, according to Motoringfile, and those guys know EVERYTHING about the goings on of MINI, haha.

Can you just go ahead and order the car now? You'll get the 2007 price and it shouldn't be too hard to stall them a week or 2 before completing the sale if you must.

Friday is the day that the 2008 configurator is supposed to go online.

here's the price changes and some differences in what you get in the packages. After seeing the new prices, i decided to order the '07.

This says that the Convertible prices are not changing much? Anyone confirm this?

 

Alot depends on YOUR Dealer - Mine still has slots/production numbers for the 07's but they are going fast - some dealers are telling their customers that 07 is OUT and only will order 08's and they won't even start taking the orders until Dec - So, if you have That dealer - be sure to ask how many people are in front of you - you may not get your Mini for some time.... Do your homework and if you are not happy - shop around - may be easier said than done - not everyone has dealers to pick from.. I am lucky, I have 5 within a 90 min drive...

 

Another newbie question, I just ordered my MINI, but I didn't get the upgraded steering wheel...do I have cruise control or not?
