2012 Cooper S Correct Battery to Install

I have a 2012 MINI Cooper S Hardtop purchased used from the MINI dealership. The battery that was in my vehicle when purchased was a NAPA 7548 battery, I have replaced my battery almost 2 years ago with the exact same NAPA 7548 battery. I didn't run my MINI for about 3.5 weeks, upon my return my car has had trouble starting and has thrown up a bunch of error codes from brakes to traction/stability/ESP and then some. NAPA said the battery needs recharged and not switched out, my reading was 604 out of 680. They said I could also try running it on a one hour rides, also tried that. Car is still hesitating to start, not clicking but doesn't have enough power to get over the hump after a couple tries, but then eventually starts. Took it to my local shop (not MINI) and they charged the battery but it was only up to 475 out of 680. Took it straight to NAPA about 2 miles away and the battery was at 610 out of 680. As I have found out MINI dealerships list 3 batteries for my specific car, 2 AGMs and an acid battery. Each dealership I called had the sane response and couldn't pinpoint which one. The dealership that I bought it used from said they would just replace the same one that is in there, but know that this is a NAPA battery that came with the used car from their dealership.

Anyone with an R56 2012 MINI Cooper S know which battery is the right one or any direction? The NAPA 7548 is NOT an AGM. Thank you for any help you can provide! I did search through this forum but didn't find this specific question asked.

If it's the same as a Non-S, I just put an Interstate H6 [non-AGM] in my R57.
No BMS on mine, so it was a quick & easy swap. I'd bought a scanner to register the battery, but ended up not needing it, so got my $140 back.

Thanks for your response! I'm curious, how did you know that you didn't need to register the battery?

Yeah, the MINI dealerships said AGM 70 amp, AGM 60 AMP, Acid Battery 70 amp or Acid Battery 61 amp. It's wild how there isn't a clearer answer, another MINI quirk!

In my case, it didn't have the BMS box on the battery cable [neg terminal, IIRC].
